2017 Subaru Impreza Wiper Arm Replacement

Good afternoon!

I am wondering if you can replace the 2017 Subaru Impreza Wiper Arm with the 2016 model? I went to get new wiper blades but nothing fits because of the way Subaru made the newer wiper blade holders on the arm. I much rather have the J-hook style rather than the push button style they put on the newer cars.
