Hello! I am trying to do some traveling this winter in places that require chains by law if there’s heavy snow EVEN if you have AWD/Snow Tires. In my Owner’s Manual it says specifically that my vehicle doesn’t have enough clearance for snow chains and they are not necessary since I have AWD. However, seeing it’s the law to have them in some areas I might need an alternative. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have a 2005 legacy gt. Comes stock with lower clearence. Went to my tire les schwab. I have cable chains
