My driver side door sounds ‘hollow’ or makes a ‘vibration’ sound when I close it and also when going over some bumps while driving I hear a ‘hollow’ sound from front end of car. I’m reading about the inside structure of the door and soundproofing this somehow. Can anyone help explain what is needed to fix this, thanks!

My 2009 has that mystery sound and looking the door seals around the body / door frame area.
It's been used many many times and will adjust the door striker.
It's not so much sound proofing but a layer / thin mat glued to the inner skin (outer side of door) with a body shop glue. Some doors, not all have a plastic sheet glued at the inner frame sealing the door inner panel from moisture.
