2012 impreza 2.0 oil sensor

I have a 2012 impreza 2.0 L and yesterday while driving the car began running rough, check engine light came on and the red oil light, engine has oil, no visible signs of oil leak anywhere, what could this be? Oil sending unit or sensor? Any help is appreciated
