Need help.
08 Legacy with 180k on it. Son's car and don't want to put any more money into it than I need to. Thing wont pass inspection because the air bag light is on. I get ABS codes to pop on the dash, nothing on my scanner, yet the dealership is telling me it's the overhead console and the main controller (behind radio). Here's my problem...
Console was "fixed" with youtube method last year.
I just replaced the controller with a used one from a reputable ebay source.
Dealer says overhead light not working and car does not recognize the new controller? They've quoted me $1200 which I'm not investing, especially with a timing belt change on the horizon.
