the 15 amp fuse for the clock/interior lights keeps blowing every time i put a new fuse in. i tried a 20,30 and 35 amp fuse but happens everytime. what is connected to that fuse to check? not sure if the abs light being on is possibly causing that since i read that when the abs light is out on some years it disables other features/circuits. i’m not seeing any metal on metal contact from the wires at the clock connection or radio so want to see what else is attached to it

Replacing a fuse with a larger capacity is a recipe for a disaster and electrical fire.
Every post has the same request. Identify the model.
The fuse position and number at the panel is?
From past posts, this is the correct model.
Lighting circuit, any shorted wire or component will burn a fuse.
Use Ohm's Law, place a seal beam in circuit instead of the fuse.
A short circuit will turn the light on providing all door latches are closed.
Make an adapter to fit the fuse socket as to not damage it.
Use the schematic and disconnect the suspect. The light will turn off.

Read my post again.
sorry most of that text didn’t load the first time. what is a seal beam? i’ve never heard of it so i don’t know how to make it. is there any youtube guides on how to make a seal beam for a fuse?

Connect two wires to the head lamp. there are three connections.
1 in the center is ground
2 on the outside are low and high beam.
Make a connector to ground. Make a connector to one of two outside connectors.
Test on a battery and the light is ON.
Find a fitting connector to match the fuse blade or butcher up the burned fuse.
Connect the longer wires from the headlight to the fuse connector.
Now the headlight absorbs the current and doesn't set the car on fire.
Make sure the connection at the headlight is wrapped with electrical tape.
Connected to the fuse and the doors latched, the light should be OFF if there is nothing wrong with the circuit.
Once the defect is found, the light will turn OFF
Headlamp connectors can be found at any auto supply provider.

i found the short, it was a tiny piece of exposed wire in the front dome lights
i just pulled all the lights off the interior and radio to find it

are there any circuits that are engaged when driving? seems to short after a quick drive/during driving. but the rear windshield washer fluid dispenser doesn’t work anymore so im not sure if those are tie together

With the key ON, those circuits are always alive. A dome light circuit is alive at all times. The washer fluid circuit is alive only when the key is ON.
Read the diagrams for the washer(s)
