Sube badge of ownership - legit?

Don't like the idea of a required daytime phone and VIN.

Some guys at nasioc used VINs from previous cars they owned.

I dunno, they have their rules.
You could always pay another Subaru owner you know to order a badge
for you or check Ebay and the soob forums (like nasioc,
ultimatesubaru, etc.) for folks who may want to sell their badges. I
ordered one but might not use it.

Hi Hachiroku!

I just followed this link and clicked on the "Order Yours" button. The
choices of badges was pretty skinniy, and I looked at one and said, that
looks pretty cool. Below it was LBGT...

Hmmm....LBGT....hmmm...LBG-!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going back to Toyotas...

Yea, I saw that too. I didn't see one for heterosexual folks tho,
probably not PC enuf.

Wonder if they offer a _special_ one for sheep lovers.

Alas, I think it's gonna be a long time before I look at a new Soobie.

As it turns out, our family automotive collection has shifted away
from Subaru's in favor of Toyotas over the last year or so:

We currently have two Forries; a '99 and an '02.

But we have a '96 T100, a '92 Celica GT convertible, an '86 4Runner,
and an '85 MR2.

I just wish the Toys were as easy to work on as the Subarus; it took
at least twice as long to change the oil on the 4Runner as on my
wife's Forry the other day, and that's an _easy_ 4Runner chore. And
don't even get me started on the MR2 :p

The T100 isn't as bad, tho, maybe Toyotas engineers are finally waking
up to the reality that sometimes their creations need to be serviced.

ByeBye! S.

That's ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-d!

I had (still have, actually) an '85 Corolla GTS (hence the Hachiroku nym)
and my BIL had an '86 MR2. I took my wife out in the MR2. I don't think
they were ever able to remove the claw marks from the dash. Basically the
same car less 2 seats and about 650 LBS...

Toyota made some great cars in the day. They weren't up to the same
performance levels as their Nissan/Mitsubishi/Mazda counterparts, but they
sure were long on reliability!

Well, if you didn't know a lot of lesbians, and gays,
proudly drive Subarus.

I don't understand your reference to PC.
Why an emblem for a charachteristic that >95%
of people share? "Human" emblem, perhaps?

You really interested in that one? Wow.

If the little gay emblem is the reason, then you're not
doing yourself a favor. By the way, Toyota is the biggest
sponsor of the largest LGBT event in the world, the Gay
Pride Parade in San Francisco (the 40th Gay Pride is
taking place this very Sunday)

They are very gay friendly people, Toyota.
