Hello. Recently purchased 2023 Ascent which has been great. Noticed rust spots on garage floor where it has been parked. Looks like there is significant rust forming underneath. We did mention to dealer and was told it was normal. However, this does not appear to be normal. Anyone else?

Many exhaust systems have very small water drains to get rid of the moisture accumulation from the internal components of the exhaust. The images indicate rusted external stains on "stainless pipes".
This has been noticed before with temperature changes (heat and cooling) at the exhaust system (condensation) along with the vehicle "wading" through water with a hot exhaust.
Ask the dealer to inspect the exhaust system and tell them "you don't feel safe". That will get their attention.
