I am only getting about 15 months out of rear brake pads. 3x now! Anyone experience this.(Front Pads are Normal wear)

Rear pads are still built thinner than front pads, just like they have been for decades.
They were made thinner because less usage was anticipated.
Now that the computer is silently applying a brake here and there, cumulative wear is racking up faster.
The good news is the Subaru warantee COVERS brake-pads. (unlike many other vehicle makers)
