Portable cd player for a 26' crosstrek

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but . . .

We subscribe to an online music service (Apple Music). For $10 per month, we can access some 70 million songs in virtually every category. I choose to download music to my iPhone, connect that wirelessly to my Subaru via Bluetooth, and listen to my selected music whenever I'm in the car. Only for as long as I continue to pay for Apple Music do the downloaded songs remain accessible. I can pay $10 per month for a long time 'til I've exceeded the cost of a portable CD player.

There are other online music sources that can integrate with iPhones and Android phones and which are reasonably priced.
