My STI died last week and looks like for me it may not be viable to repair. The engine overheated and stopped within a few miles. Cost just to teardown just for diagnostic is 6K. Could be lucky and only something like a head gasket or much worse and require an engine swap. Not willing to gamble.

Body: Very good condition. No accidents, major dents or scratches. Just a few door dings that should be easy paintless dent repair. Some oxidation on fiberglass rear spoiler and fiberglass insert in front of air intake. Otherwise paint finish is very good.
Interior: Very good. No torn or scratched seats. Rear seats have been used probably 6 times in 13 years.
Car is at dealer now. Will try to get some photos posted here if folks are interested.
Dealer has offered salvage rate. I'd obviously like more but in particular would like to see it go to someone who would bring it back to life and enjoy this last of the series.
