Oil separator cover - what does it need?

R

Remco

Hi all

Now that I have my drive plate off, I noticed that the oil separator
cover is cracked and weeped a little oil - the engine dropped some oil,
nothing serious. This must have been the source.
The old cover was plastic but the new one just received is aluminum.

What does one put in between this cover and the engine case? Some of
that permatex RTV rubber or just a skim coat of gasget glue?

Thanks!

Looking through the engine pdfs collected, I see Subaru recommends
using "three bond 1215 or equivalent". Do you guys know what is
equivalent? The places I've been to haven't heard of it (Is it a Subaru
pn, maybe).

Answering my own questions - In searching, I found this equivalency
table. I am not sure if it is correct:

Just posting it in case anyone else ever needs to know.
