if you live in an area that hot, it would damage any car at some point. I can say the qaulity of manufacturing since 2019 has decrease a lot and price have going up … with all car brands sadly. but the deal really isnt liable for a part that melted when you live in a area that has scoulding hot temps. if it melted due to some internal electrical problem then sure it would the be subarus fault. so in this case while it could just be the parts are just made with degraded qauilty then in the past which is the only thing you can really go after, i just focus on how to deflect the heat of parts that are more susceptible to damage. get sun covers for them that are white or grey or reflective. besti can think of at the moment. i would report this to —>

top right corner you can report a concern. the main reason here would be that the “safety mirrors melt creating unsafe conditions” and also make sure that you include the temp range (low - high) avg in your report.
