Melting mirror on Outback

I have a 2017 Outback that recently started melting on the drivers side mirror. 2 days later it had more crimping in the mirror. What’s going on with this. Can’t understand this as all. I’m the original owner.

Same issue on my 2019 Outback. There is another thread with multiple posts where people theorize about internal electrical, water in the casing, etc. But my two mirrors are melting, plus my rear spoiler. Subaru has gotten some sub-quality parts. They need to stand behind their cars and go after their parts supplier for breach of quality.
