Melting 2022 Ascent

My 2022 Ascent is melting on both sides. It started with a few burn type stripes on the drivers side, but everyday more stripes show up, now on both sides, roof rack, and under the side view mirror. The wheel well protector discolored a few months ago, but changed to melting when all the other plastic started melting.

I went to the closest dealer today and they pushed the reflection theory on me, but that does not add up. They then said they would contact Subaru Corp and see what they say.

Same occurred with my 2022 Ascent. Trim was replaced in December and plastic melted again February. Waiting for a response from corporate about this on going issue.

One needs to ask "what type of focused light" is melting plastic. Go back to the scene of the crime, there is likely more evidence in the surrounding area.
