lease buyout

Just discovered that Subaru is not interested in negotiating a lease buyout.
Take it for the buyout price or return it. "We have a very strong
aftermarket, they said.

So ...I have never run into that before and I have been leasing for a while.
Normally, there is some negotiation. Most companies would prefer not having
to handle, detail and sell the automobile.

Sure, they can get more by selling it back to the dealer....

Sort of like you selling a used car to a dealer, or selling it yourself

Where I live, the dealers are aggressively seeking Subaru
trade-ins. I think that between the high resale value and
the desire to have "starter" Subarus for new customers,
the rules that apply to most used cars don't apply to
Subarus.
