Impreza valve spring recall

I bought a used 2013 Impreza earlier this year and recently found out about the valve spring recall. I was wondering if anyone here has had the repair done and what your results were after the repair? I have almost 100kmiles on the car and I’m not sure how I feel about having the repair done. I’ve seen articles about this repair being done and then causing catastrophic engine failure not long after. Any input would be appreciated thank you.
