I've got a 1993 impreza wagon fwd 1.6l, unleaded fuel. worked well for many years. Once i parked it, and 1 hour after, it didn't start. We heard the fuel pump didn't start when we turn the key. Checked the electrical connexion to the pump, it was ok, si I changed the pump and the fuel filter. Now the pump start, the petrol arrive at the fuel filter, but still nothing, it doesn't start.
If i inject gas into air admission the motor starts and runs well as long as I inject gas, but as soon as I push the accelerator it goes slowly down and stop.
Got a check engine code 53 - fuel pump and circuit.
But the fuel pump is yet new and working. What should I check ?
