CrossTrek oil light

Wondering if anyone has had an issue with their CrossTrek oil maintenance light coming on intermittently. My 2013 CrossTrek just started doing this and oil was leaking. I've taken it to the dealer numerous time and they cannot find anything wrong with my car. They did put on a new valve.

This can be caused by many factors, from leaks and sensor problems to electronic faults, need to look. I recommend that you contact a trusted auto mechanic if the dealer does not help you.

I’ve had two different experiences with this. One is that long road trips my 2013 xv burns some oil. I just keep a quart of 0w20 in the back for just this occasion. The other is when i cross threaded my oil drain plug and had a slow leak. A new drain plug and gasket fixed it right up.
