I am at 84,000 miles on my Subaru 2019 Crosstrek…Looking to find out if anyone has had to replace the lithium battery on their Crosstrek Hybrid yet? Cost?

Also, can you continue to run the Crosstrek Hybrid on petrol if the battery fails? Indefinitely?

The only possibility to test the EV battery is with a qualified Technician.
The battery is dangerous and needs to be prepared for "testing, removal and disassembly".
Tests will include the vehicle charging status and reserve / charged capacity.
The house or home charger should also be tested.

Heat will damage the battery and so will cold weather.
Charging the battery over capacity is not the best practice, running battery bellow minimum specifications is also not the best practice.

FYI

At least test the service battery as well.

Contact the dealer for the latest replacement (parts and labor).

Running that model with a defective battery is never the best option.
