Carplay has no sound

On my 2019 outback limited carplay has no sound when making calls, unable to link iphone with carplay. Everything updated (Subaru updated, iphone updated), tried factory reset. Still not working

Just to be sure where the issue lies try another phone if you can and see if the issue is the car or the phone. Or try that phone in another vehicle.

Push the speaker button on the iphone and be certain that the phone is using car play and not either the iphone or its speaker.
