Of course CARB approved it...it doesn't effect
emissions, or *anything* else!
Interesting to sell the products

I'm sure it is....ever consider adding one of the
"turbo-whizzer" noisemakers to it?

The California EPA has nothign to do with approving parts for cars.

and i didn't know "on" was a number.

Looking at the patent (4,732,014), the concept is rather interesting. It's
intent is to suck out exhaust gases by running them through a helix which
supposedly procudes an eddy flow.

Somethin to think about.

This eddy flow produces a sizable vacuum on your wallet.

LOL Yeah, probably.

Two-stroke tuners put a *lot* of effort into designing their exhaust
systems, for exactly Tim's stated reason. The resonance of the exhaust
pulses sets up a "sucking" action that helps pull out exhaust gases. But
this exhaust system tuning only works perfectly at a specific engine RPM,
making these tuned two-strokes very peaky engines. And I'm betting that
none of the vehicles for which the "Exhaustonator" is designed to fit run
two-stroke engines, either. But since it was just spam to begin with, we're
all just wasting bandwidth...
