Hello, im replacing the alternator on my gf's Forester and im wondering what the "C" on the alternator (see photo) means i can get one from a junkyard but its from a legacy i think. The Alternator on the car has an "E" on the Alternator and the junkyard one has a "C" can anyone tell me what the letters mean and if they are interchangeable.
