My Outback has 96,000 miles and for the past few days I will be driving along and the Eye Sight warning will appear on the Message Indicator saying Check Owners Manual. In addition to that, the side passing light on the Message Indicator as well as the rear end light on the tach.. on the Speedo ,the Red Brake light lights up and the Yellow ABS light lights up.
The steering wheel gets tighter like the power steering is diminished. When I restart the car , it seems to clear the fault.
Does anyone have any information on this ??

Until someone smarter answers put masking take over the eyesight camera - this will simulate bad weather/dirt and should disable the cruise and eyesight features.
If the Eyesight turns off all your error lights that system is the primary problem.
If the ABS light does not turn off have someone fix it right away. Brakes are good to have.
