Hello all posting for my dad here. We own a 2011 Forester XT. About a week ago we had a rock hit the left headlight. The drivers side headlight low beam stopped working. We replaced the bulb hoping that would fix it. It fixed it but caused the passenger side to stop working. Left it to sit for a couple days and the right one started working again. After verifying fuses I messed with a few plugs that I had seen. Nothing worked to get the drivers side functioning. Went out tonight and now neither work and it’s the only car we have for a couple days. I’ve tried to put in as much information as I have so I can hopefully get an answer quickly. Noticed that the plug for the low beam has a surge box or something. If someone can tell me what that is(images attached) or knows why the low beam lights aren’t working please help. Thank you
