for my 03 wrx wagon, does anyone know if the car has a receiver hitch,
and what size it is (1 1/4" or 2")?

you can get OEM or 2-3 aftermarkets. 1.25"

I have the OEM, it looks ok (you can barely see it in this link);

I have a 1upusa rack. unquestionably the best rack - but very expensive.
