Read code and it states a knock sensor issue. The car when accelerating
sometime just doesnt respond and seemes very sluggish. After a little
while it seems to kick in and i am off an runing. Want to know i anyone
has had this experience and if replacing the knock sensor makes sense in
this case. I have read other forums where it is not always the knock
sensor. Please help!

Could be you are not running fuel with a high enough octane rating or there
is enough build-up in the cylinders to raise the compression. Try some Sea
Foam in the power brake hose and some premium fuel. TG

The computer has probably defaulted to extremely retarded timing if the
knock sensor is out. That is why the car is sluggish.

There was a recall on O2 sensors. You have described a common problem.
Contact www.suaru.com with your vin number to see if you may be
