2001 Outback brake problem

I

IDG

A friend has a 2001 Outback wagon which has given her repeated problems with brake and rotor wear. Any suggestions for aftermarket products which might give better preformance and wear.

Thanks.

Assuming she doesn't ride the brakes, in which case nothing will help
then I recommend the OEM brakes. Mine have 82,000 miles on my 2000
forester and have about 1/2 the pad thickness remaining and nice shiny
rotors. I there a chance that the master cylinder is not fully
releasing the fluid pressure. A good brake shop should be able to
assist in determining if it's a brake or person problem. Ed
