1999 forester confusing electrical probs—help appreciated

Had 180k miles. In good shape. Recently my daughter was driving it and she heard a weird pop or some other noise, and now the speedometer, the windows, and the turn signals do not work. The fuses all seem to be intact. She also says the fan for the air conditioner is working but not that well. Does anyone know how all these items are related somewhere? Is there a ground wire that’s just for them? Is there a power wire somewhere in the fuse panel that is just for them? Could this be an ECU problem? Any thoughts would be appreciated. And if anyone knows a very good Subaru mechanic in Reno Nevada, feel free to post
