Engine for a 1999 Forester with manual transmission?

I am looking at buying a 1999 Forester but it has a bad engine? Does anyone have an engine for 1999 Forester that has a manual transmission? If yes, what is the price? What about shipping costs to Minneapolis?
 
is the engine an EJ251 or EJ253?
I have a Remanufactured engine that just past 26,000 miles from my Outback (car got scrapped, I saved my engine and transmission) yes I have the 2016 dated receipt for the engine.
