Just had new rear brakes done, not by Subaru. Pedal
is low and doesn't feel right. Garage that did repair
says its fine, and can't adjust it anymore. What
can I do?

Check your seat adjustment.

Take it into a Subaru dealership to have them check it out?

Rear disk brake pads or drum shoes? What does the " not feel right"
mean? If pads then maybe flush system with new brake fluid. If rear
shoes then maybe needs some time to wear in OR drums need replacing
due to wear/scoring and a brake flush. Just a thought.

Ya I would just flush out the whole system and replace with a good quality brake fluid maybe use a dot 4.
