Wondering if anyone can help, my outback won't shift into gear. It's an on and off problem for the past two weeks. It'll slowly shift into first and second at times and then won't go into gear after that. It'll rev when you step in the gas but won't go faster. But if you turn off the car then back on there are times it'll shift into gear fine but again not all the time. Finally got a code for the transmission but that's it. Just a transmission code, no real specifics.
