Had a 2015 which worked fine. Now have a 2018 and they have "improved" the software. It seems like if when you turn car on if it doesn't finish rescanning all the music on the stick when it gets to the end of the current song it will go to the first song instead of the next song. Really annoying.
I was hoping if I used a playlist that would fix it. Lots of discussion on which models and years can use playlist so not sure if its supported. I tried as discussed in this post.

Song order doesn't follow playlist and if I use voice command play playlist it says there are no playlists. Anybody use USB playlist with 2018 Forester?
Also looked to see if software can be updated. Looks like some 2018 models can be but didn't find how to for Forester. Can the software be updated? On software information page it says ModelID:13FDANNA-CA01
Any ideas?
