Second Childhood for Justy

NO,
I did not start it yet but it turns over more easily now by hand.
I still need to look the carb over and mount the Alternator, AC Compressor,
Air diverter valve, a couple of engine mounts, and the transmission before I
can set it into the car. I am planning to replace the 2nd gear synchro this
weekend so I may not be able to start it for a while yet.

So are you dealing with an engine that needs yet to have a proper run-in of the cam & followers,
bores & and rings, or has that already been done by the rebuilder?

It's a critical step, don't overlook it.

It is safe to assume that it will need a proper break-in.
I saw assembly lube all over the crank and rods and under the valve cover.
I want this engine to last as long as possible.
New cars, (cool ones anyway), cost more than I paid for my house!
(I could get used to a WRX STi though, real quick!)
