1st time subaru owner

Hello everyone. Wife and I purchased a new 25 Forester Touring this past november. It's my first subaru, wifes second has she had a brat in the 1980s.
We are really enjoying it and have about 4k on it now.
I've tinted windows (hot climate) , changed the exhaust tip, added armrest cushion, all weather mats that fit better than the subaru all weather mats, cargo net and soon maybe a moonroof deflector.

I'd get some good seat covers while your ssats are still in good shape.
I like CoverKing real neoprene. They make the seat impervious to moisture, pets, kids, wear, etc while making the seats more comfortable. Not the cheapest but you usually get what you pay for.

Just make sure you do all required maintenance including drain/fill of transmission every 36000/3 yrs. This is what is done in Japan. Also be sure to change the differential (2) fluid every 30000. Subaru USA says you don’t have to do tranny fluid, but you really do. I’ve had my 2018 forester since new. It’s running great!! And tune in to Mr Subaru1387 on YouTube. Good luck!!
