Repeated bearing failure

my 2011 Impreza has been through 3 front wheel bearings in 6 months. The 1st bearing was installed by a mechanic and the next 2 were done by me. I made sure everything was cleaned properly before reinstalling. I also followed the proper torque specs each time.. I have no idea why they keep failing? Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a 2015 Outback. Front wheel bearings, both sides failed at 44k. Then at 54K, one rear wheel bearing failed. Then at 75k the other rear wheel bearing failed. Now at 85k, there is yet another wheel bearing failure. This makes 5 wheel bearings from 44k to 85k.
