Not sure the remote start will still work with the key fob. Unless you have the dealer installed remote start accessory with a dedicated remote start key fob. The Starlink system is software only and works via the car's Wi-Fi. The dealer installed option is hardware and is actually a radio receiver. You can use either the dedicated or the pushbutton key fob with this system once it is installed, but the dedicated fob will have a much greater range. Cost for the dealer install is on the order of $600 to $700 last time I checked.
Don’t much care for the starlink remote for the same reason and not going to drop the coin for a key fob remote. So I am going to be like my dad and when I want the car to start, I’m going to walk out to the car and start it. Oh, the inhumanity!
