I’ve had my Impreza for about a year and somewhat regularly used remote start from the MySubaru app. Recently it hasn’t been working like usual. It has always prompted me to step on the brake and press the start/stop engine. As of late, I don’t get those prompts and it idles when I attempt to start the engine. The shift is also locked in park. Furthermore, I can’t turn it off either, so I have to turn it off through the app and then restart the car manually.
Any ideas or troubleshooting I can try?
