Remote starting

I like the remote starting feature on my 2018 Outback, but I would like to drive the car without shutting down the engine. Is it possible to do this by modifying the app? Thanks!

Back in the day, with aftermarket remote starts, you used a toggle switch to keep the car running and was able to remove the key. Example, if you were running into a store or gas station. Not with todays app.
