Hello to all. I have a 2003 impreza outback. Found out it has a leaking head gasket. 
They want $2500 to repair. Need advice/input/opinion/direction on what I could do. Pay the $2500 for the fox, look for a decent low mileage motor or even rebuild the existing motor. It has 197,000+ on it.
More help needed, how safely can I drive this ? Unfortunately it's my ride for now. I do have another older ride that I can use if I have to. Any help will be appreciated.
