My 1999 Subaru legacy is missing

My 1999 Subaru Legacy misses when the rpms are low. It runs fine when I keep the rpms up. What could be wrong?

At least read / test the engine controller's recorded fault codes.
Defective spark plug(s)
Defective ignition coil
Contaminated MAF sensor
Vacuum leak (engine or brake booster)
Sticking EGR valve
Defective PCV valve
Contamination at the throttle body
Cylinder head valve clearances
Engine compression
Air/Fuel Ratio contaminated by coolant
Misreporting oxygen sensors
Dirty / plugged / restricted fuel injector(s)
Non maintained timing belt

Reset the idle speed.
