Have a 2021 Outback Premium with 37K miles on it. Yup. A lot!
For first 8-10 months was achieving pretty good numbers on my miles per gallon average. Pretty much sat at 30-31 mpg. Just took a trip to AZ. Overall trip, I saw 25.6 mpg. On the trip home, again car was reporting 25.6. Has anyone else experienced a decrease like this. I kind of expected, now that the engine is completely broken in performance closer to the 30 mark. I also had a 2018, same model and that one gave me the same 30-31.

If anyone knows something I need to know, please share.

Hand calculate. Gasoline quality can vary, and altitude can tank it. How's your air filter? Ever change it?
Lots of things can effect MPG, the right foot being the #1 variable. Higher speed limits can factor in as well.

Happy Searching.
