So I've been a mechanic for a vary long time but I'm stumped right now.
I've got the worst misfire/barely running condition
Codes:
p0301,p0302,p0303,p0304,p050b
We have a 2012 subaru outback 303,000km
It started as a misfire on cylinder 1 swapped the coils and plugs to different positions, the codes followed the coil so I got new coils and plugs
Installed them. And it was running amazing.
Maybe 3 weeks later, just leaving for a trip no codes before. Then all of a sudden the engine just lost all power, it started missing and then completely died.
I couldn't even get it running so towed it home then it ran but not well.
Since then I've cleaned the throttle body, maf, insured no connectors on the coils were damaged. But now it's missing worse then ever and dies alot.
Timing belt was done about 40,000km ago
