Leather seats problems

I purchased my 2018 Outback limited with 26,000 MLS on 5/6/21. About a year later, I covered a tear in the driver's seat with a leather tap. Now , 6 months later another is forming on the outer seam of the same seat. Anyone with similar experiences? Any good sear cover recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
