After two fairly disastrous years with a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, I saw the light and got a Subaru. I picked up a 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness with some good options on it!

My Jeep could get me literally anywhere in the Rockies which was great. But after a clutch recall/replacement, multiple dealership issues, and most recently body corrosion due to a manufacturer defect not covered by warranty, I'd had enough. The Jeep was only ~5 years old with 20,000 miles, so pervasive corrosion was totally unacceptable.

So, I may not be able to drive *everywhere* anymore, but the whole point was the hiking, not the driving. :) Here are a few photos from Thursday:

Enjoy the new Crosstrek Wilderness

I purchased one as well, on October 26, 2024 in Sun Blaze Metallic. Option Package 23 had been added, along with a few other accessories.

What a great looking car. I bought my Alpine Green Wilderness in October. Can't wait to take it camping this Summer. Enjoy yours
