The secret is safe. We don't need a thread on the most comfortable hose
clamps...

Hey Group:

I need opinions, in the past I have used the rapid lube places with very
good experiences, I now drive an 04 OBW and wonder given the different parts
you have to remove if it is better to stay with the incontinence and cost of
dealer oil changes.

What is your experience with the quick oil change places and a Subaru?

Thanks in advance.

Jeff
I use Oil Can Henry's. They're only here on the west coast I believe.
It's always been a good experience.

Anyplace else, ask for canned oil and check the dipstick before you
leave, and you'll probably be ok.

Double check at any quick oil change place. I formerly had an 93 Isuzu
Trooper which began using oil after a Jiffy Lube employee did not
properly close the air filter housing after I rejected his offer to
replace my "dirty" 5,000 mile old air filter.

I have used Jiffy Lube several times with no problems except when they air
the tires. In every case, they screwed something up. One store read the
max pressure on the side of the tire and put that much in. At another, I
checked the tires when I got home and every one was a different pressure.
they varied from 17 lb to 45. They should have been around 32. I make it a
point to always check the tires when returning from "any service",
"anywhere".
