I have a 2025 crosstrek onyx clearly loudest road /wind noise car I have had! Coming from sunroof and tires (Falken) ?Anyone else have this

Not in my 2021 but my 2004 had a lot because of noise because the front door windows weren't framed. I'll never, ever buy another car with frameless windows.
They'd have put a block of wood in the door jam and try to close the door to tweak it so the noise would tone down some. It was a design flaw, for sure. It was probably a misguided effort to save weight and money.

The 2000+ frameless Legacies had wind noise, but there was a 5 second fix for it. Many Subarus are noisy up to if you run the left-right roof racks. I have a ton of them in garage, as I took them off all of the cars.

My racks are just the straight ones without the cross bars..My outback has full racks..no wind noise..also seems to have more insulation..a lot quieter

So far both of mine have pretty good except from the front door windows on the 2004 while the top has been pretty quiet even with a pod mounted up there on both. Maybe it's just in comparison to the truck that I used to drive. It was somewhat noisy for many reasons.

2017 Outback 88K miles. For the tire noise: My Bridgestone tires were getting very noisy. They were almost worn out 20000 miles earlier than the warranty. Took the car to Costco and replaced them with Michelin Defender 2. Problem solved. Warranted for 80000 miles. Costco staff said these tires routinely go 100000 miles. $841.00 installed for 4 tires. No separate mount and balance charge, it's all included. If you haven't gotten tires from Costco before, I think they are the best deal at any price point. Free rotation, road hazard warranty, tire pressure checks. They fill them with nitrogen and they have a free nitrogen pump and pressure check. I'm usually at Costco once a month so I fill up with gas and check the tire pressure.
