Inside hatch release for basic trim Forester Sport

Hey there. has anyone thought of installing an inside hatch release switch for the rear, when they are car camping out of the rear bed area. ? i installed one in my '16 Ford Escape and loved the feature. I no longer had to crawl forward and hit the front release switch.

Lol. I was asking if anyone Else has done a mod. It’s not to difficult. I plan on tapping into the lid release wiring. I just have to find it under headline then follow it down the pillar. Intending to put switch in the dummy Seat release plug. I wanted to see if anyone has already down the wiring tracing
