Hard crank and cel flash

I have an 08 Subaru legacy with about 130k miles. Recently when driving it will stutter and the check engine light will flash seven times but does not stay on. This only happens randomly (more seems like after a rain) and then it runs fine for a week or two. Last time it happened the cel actually stayed on. I pulled code and read misfire in 2and 4 and issue with the map sensor. Also after filling has it has a hard time starting. Almost like it’s flooded. Again no check engine light stays on. Not sure if related. I am seeing if the map sensor would be random like this. No stuttering or idle issues other than once a while. Not looking to drop 300 on new map to have it be something else. Anyone have any thoughts. thanks
The engine is the 2.5 non turbo sohc

Repair the misfire first, any random misfire will affect MAP sensor readings.
Check fuel pressure and for any vacuum leaks.
When repaired:
When the ECM is Reset and all DTC's have been cleared, the ECM idle control is also cleared.
If you have SSM3 or SSM4, simply instruct the ECM to set the idle speed.
Aftermarket bi-directional scan tools should be able to adapt the throttle program.
If there is no access to a factory style scan tool, you can recreate the proper conditions for the ECM to relearn idle control and the correct RPM to maintain idle speed under load conditions.
Load conditions include:
Cooling fans ON or OFF
A/C request
Power Steering load request
Transmission load request
Any electrical load request
Procedure:
1. Ensure all power accessories ie: lighting, heater and electrical parasites are OFF.
2. Disconnect the battery negative for 30 minutes.
3. Reconnect the battery negative.
4. Following all steps without touching any switches or pedals. Use the ignition key only.
5. Insert key to the ON position only for 20 seconds.
6a. Turn the key so that the engine starts.
6b. Set timer for 20 minutes.
6c. Let engine idle for 20 minutes.
7. Turn key OFF and leave the key in ignition for 20 seconds.
8. Remove the key.
9. Repeat step 5 and Continue to step 10a when complete.
10a. Turn the key so the engine starts and set timer for 10 minutes.
10b. Let engine idle for 10 minutes.
11. Turn the key OFF and leave key in ignition for 20 seconds.
12. Remove the key. The ECM has relearned idle speed.

Reset the clock, radio stations and electric window one-trip features.
At times, the memory electric seats and remote fobs may not operate. A reset is required.

Will check these out. Will fuel pressure being off cause such random misfires or would it be consistent i.e when I give it a certain load. I reset check engine last night but Just can’t seem to recreate the misfire or the check engine light. To come back on. Just randomly will blink about seven times then good to go

Low fuel pressure will create misfires but so will defective spark plugs, ignition coils, vacuum leaks, stuck open EGR, defective PCV, low compression etc. etc.
Fuel pressure will increase with engine load, fuel pressure will also be indicated with the key first turned ON and increase when the engine begins to run.
When the check engine lamp is ON, the network will record a fault in most cases.
