I BOUGHT this 2015 forester new and it has a hard ride. I should have test driven it. The dealer said the company changed the suspension to a more firmer sport car suspension. Can I buy different type of shocks or less firm coil springs to make it better. The older foresters rode good. Need help. I cant drive this over 10 miles then my stomach and back start bothering me.

Yeah, its possible to replace or upgrade your current shocks. I would just give your local Subaru Dealership a quick call and tell them what you're facing. They will list your best options and you can work it from there.
I highly recommend test driving before considering a vehicle. You wanna get the feel before you deal.

I have a epeeve about modern shocks. I am almost 80 so I may go further back. Shocks used to compress easily with lots of rebound dampening. The result was a smooth ride. Now the opposite, firm compression with little or no rebound dampening. The result is better cornering. I think the big change happened as a result of the Explorer law suit. I have had no luck finding old style shocks. I think almost any ride could be improved with different shocks but if you can find them remember your cornering will suffer.
